Kim Hye Jun And Kang Hoon Spark Workplace Chaos In My Bias, My Boss Premiere
Kim Hye Jun and Kang Hoon headline the premiere of tvN's My Bias, My Boss on August 3, introducing viewers to an office romance filled with misunderstandings, comedy, and unexpected chemistry.
Based on a popular webtoon, My Bias, My Boss follows Nam Da Reum (Kim Hye Jun), a devoted fan who changes jobs with one goal in mind—working alongside her longtime idol, Lee Chan (Cha Woo Min). Believing her dream is finally within reach, she joins entertainment company Appello expecting the perfect workplace.
A Dream Job Takes An Unexpected Turn
Reality quickly throws Nam Da Reum off course.
Instead of meeting idol Lee Chan on her first day, she unexpectedly crosses paths with Appello CEO Kang Ha Gi, played by Kang Hoon. Even more surprising, Kang Ha Gi already knows who she is before she officially joins the company, setting the stage for an unusual relationship from the very beginning.
Rather than the warm welcome she imagined, Da Reum finds herself caught in awkward situations that leave her first day anything but ordinary.
Kim Hye Jun And Kang Hoon's Chemistry Takes Center Stage
Newly released stills tease the entertaining dynamic between the two leads.
One image shows Kang Ha Gi sporting a bruised face and suffering a nosebleed, while Nam Da Reum glares at him with unmistakable frustration. Another scene captures the CEO supporting Da Reum as she struggles with neck pain, hinting that beneath their constant clashes may be the start of an unexpected bond.
The contrasting moments suggest the series will balance romantic comedy with emotional character development as the pair continue to collide both inside and outside the office.
What To Expect From Episode 1
Episode 1 introduces Nam Da Reum's determination to build a career close to her favorite idol, only to discover that her biggest challenge may be her demanding CEO instead.
With workplace misunderstandings, comedic accidents, and growing curiosity between the two leads, the premiere promises to establish the playful tone that fans of romantic K-dramas can look forward to throughout the season.
My Bias, My Boss premieres on August 3 at 8:50 p.m. KST and will be available to stream on Viki.
