Lee Seo Jin And Kim Kwang Kyu's My Genie Secretary Confirms August 28 Premiere
Showbiz Reporter Staff
Lee Seo Jin and Kim Kwang Kyu are returning to SBS with a new season of their hit variety show, now titled My Genie Secretary, premiering on August 28.
A New Name And An Expanded Mission
SBS has confirmed that the new season of the popular variety program will officially launch on August 28 under the new title, My Genie Secretary.
The previous season, My Grumpy Secretary, followed Lee Seo Jin and Kim Kwang Kyu as they stepped into the role of celebrity assistants, helping stars navigate their busy schedules while offering practical support.
The upcoming season broadens that concept by transforming the duo into "true secretaries." Beyond handling official work, they will also assist celebrities with more personal responsibilities and behind-the-scenes moments that traditional managers typically don't oversee.
More Personal Stories From Celebrity Guests
The new format is designed to showcase a different side of celebrity life by focusing on honest conversations and everyday interactions.
As Lee Seo Jin and Kim Kwang Kyu spend more time with their guests, viewers can expect deeper connections built on trust, leading to candid discussions and memorable moments away from the spotlight.
The series also promises a balance of humor and heartfelt storytelling as the hosts help celebrities manage both their public commitments and private concerns.
Fans Can Tune In Later This Month
More in Behind the Scenes
With its refreshed concept and new title, My Genie Secretary aims to build on the popularity of its predecessor while offering viewers a closer look at the lives of well-known stars.
The new season premieres on August 28 on SBS, bringing Lee Seo Jin and Kim Kwang Kyu back together for another round of entertaining and personal celebrity experiences.
